Having just announced this event, I was informed about a second event happening the following day.
If you can’t make this day, or are interested in more, check out Hot Topic – Are We Being Climate Smart?. There’s a number of speakers and all are speaking on topic, but from differing view points. Some from the city management, some from business opportunities.

I did indeed — one of the speakers is a friend — but thanks for drawing it to everyone’s attention. I would have attended, too, had not the skeptics talk been the night before, and my talk at the opening of the Tree Crops Association conference the following evening.
Heh… You could just move into town for the week.
