		<description>I just listened to a fantastic NPR interview podcast with James Balog of Extreme Ice Survey who is documenting shrinking and melting glaciers with long term timelapse photography and expeditions

he&#039;s a nature photographer by trade so a lot of the photos are spectacularly beautiful - he&#039;s just releasing a book with National Geographic Books and there&#039;s a PBS Nova doco screening in the US Mar 24 and so there is publicity - there are lots of astounding photos and video clips at:
