"Asylums for the chronically deluded" sounds like a firming up of their position... ;-) I have one substantive disagreement. If NZ has a refugee problem, it won't be one involving <em>"huddled masses of climate refugees arriving here from the Pacific and from the poorer parts of Asia and the subcontinent".</em> It'll be the rich who get here first, and look to protect their nice green lifeboat... At that stage they seemed to me to shy away from the obvious implications of their own findings. They’ve obviously got over that. The scientists are not ticked off for overstatement. I just hope that this time they’re wrong about the politicians. But I fear they know more about politicans than they did about scientists.
