Y'all a hoot. I love co2.

Nitrous Oxide as a greenhouse gas has been totally ignored.

"Better known as ‘laughing gas’, nitrous oxide (N2O) accounts for 9 per cent of all greenhouse gases, yet is 300 times more potent than carbon dioxide (CO2). As a result its longevity in the atmosphere provides a potentially more damaging legacy than CO2.
Agriculture accounts for around 70 per cent of N2O emissions. The sources are mainly from soil micro-organisms that make N2O from nitrogen-rich fertilisers added to soils to maximise crop yields. Other significant biological sources of N2O come from the wastewater treatment industries where the greenhouse gas is again produced from micro-organisms."

New Zealand factory farming ( especially dairying ) uses huge quantities of nitrogen fertilizer. So what's this country's " laughing gas footprint ?"

Warming ? Tell that to anyone surviving the bitter winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

Well, Mike, thank you for stopping by to offer your "wisdom". You clearly have a different definition of zero to the rest of the world. There is no doubt that the world is warming, and that CO2 from emissions is causing it. More CO2 = more warming. If you want to prove otherwise you'll need to rewrite the laws of physics.

No?

I thought not.

There is zero actual scientific proof that human CO2 causes global warming - only computer models, (written by people who have an incentive to keep saying there is a 'problem' - to stay employed spending our tax money). It IS true that termites emit 10 to 20 times more greenhouse gas than human fossil fuel. So wouldn't it be cheaper to kill all the termites than to starve people with this carbon emission reduction crap? Google Al Gore + Maurice Strong ... it's all a scam.

Another example of lack of balanced and well researched media coverage in New Zealand.

More often than not press releases appear as articles in newspapers that have had no real journalistic value added to them.

I have just got back from Europe and miss the excellent newspapers their. At least the newpaper press their adds value to its readership.

Does the Herald not have a science editor they can run these articles past? Or even an internet-connected PC they could use to check Garth's gibberish?
