He included a somewhat acid comment on Andy Revkin's continuing need to provide "balance" to an article which had been through Nature's rigorous peer review process. Romm suggested that if Revkin wanted to quote one or two scientists who question Blanchon's results he could at the same time have pointed out that Blanchon's findings about the previously unexpected rapidity with which sea level rise can occur are supported by a number of other recent studies and warnings from leading climate scientists.
